I also had the displeasure of dealing with the staff at Luella Rosebank. On Saturday, 20 July, I went with my daughter to look for a shoe. Upon entering the shop, we were greeted with glares and not even a simple hello being the only 2 people in the shop. We looked around and not once did any of the ladies come to offer assistance. Eventually I went up to the till, greeted them and then commented that it takes absolutely nothing away from them to greet customers who have walked into the shop, and is the expected and polite thing to do. The one lady nodded, and the other who seemed to be the cashier, just scowled at me and then proceeded to ignore me as if I was not even there! The assistant then went into the back to fetch the shoes we wanted. But they were so frosty that my daughter even commented that she actually did not want those boots anymore and would rather get them from Foschini in Sandton. Needless to say we proceeded with the purchase. I then before leaving commented that they should try to just greet people that walk into the shop.
The whole experience left me disgusted and not in a rush to visit that store anytime soon! MOst disappointing indeed
