My mother made a purchase on 30 November 2013 at welkom square store. It was a feather down queen duvet inner.for a R1000 she gave it to me as a gift on 7 December on 15 December our domestic worker came in. So only then i opened the inner I immediately phoned the branch where my mother made the purchase when i opened it i saw it was not the correct inner as stated on the package. It was a normal hollow fibre inner. Not a fraction of value. Today i took it in after speaking over the phone with store manager Petrus. He phoned the area manager who politely told him. They cant exchange it cause it does not have a mr. Price lable on it. I told them that is the way my mother bought it from the shop. Only after i insisted to speak to the area manager myself they said they will investigate the matter. So what now. I mean my mother paid R1000 for that inner which is not what we received. If I have to i will take this matter further. I do have a right to get what we paid for. And i do not intend to pay a R1000 for a normal hollow fibre item. Please feel free to contact me regarding this matter.
