Makro weekly specials flyer advertised a LG side by side fridge on promotion for R7999 and also states that the normal purchase price is R6999.In addition to this the flyer states that you get R1000 rand of the purchase price which means i should pay R5999 for the fridge.
I spoke to the manager who sold the fridge to me for R6999 but he also said that i am within my rights to demand the extra R1000 off the R6999 normal price. He contacted head office and they refused to give me the additional R1000 of the normal price of R6999.
I personally think there advertising is misleading.
