I had purchased 2 Kelvinator products, a microwave and Double door Mirror finish fridge to our disappointment we have had endless problems, within 2 months the microwave has completely rusted on the inside. The Fridge condiments holders have also started rusting. I discard a huge amount of food and veg because the fridge door doesn't not close. My husband and I went to the store we purchased the items from but was not assisted, eventually we got a customer care number but received no assistance either. My call was received by a rude women who refused to give me her name. I went on to the Kelvinator website and logged a complain.
I received a response from Robin Silberauer who requested pictures of the rusty products, which I submitted.
I did not receive a response from Robin until I send a follow up email which was after 3 weeks. Robin responded that the pictures were unclear and the microwave is indication of water damage and they wont be able to assist. proof of purchase was also submitted by it almost 3 months and I have received no feed back. To my knowledge Kelvinator products are made of poor quality steel and sprayed with bad quality coating and the microwave vent poor.
