I went to the Woolworths at the Wedge on Tuesday the 3rd of December. As I was at the till paying, I heard my cell go off with an SMS from FNB (as it does every time there is a debit). I was then bumped from behind by one of the staff members there, which I thought nothing of at the time. When I got back to my car, I realised I did not have my cell anymore. I called it off my work number and it was off (in the space of 2 minutes of me hearing it at the till). I knew it had been taken while I was in store. I then went to the manager to inform him my phone had been. I asked to see the CCTV footage. The CCTV footage was blocked out by a huge black smudge down the 1side (which is exactly where my handbag was with my cellphone in it). From the footage you can see the lady from Woolworths bumping me then going off screen then walking back holding plastics in her hand. The matter was referred to head office who after me having to call to follow up said they are unable to see the employees hands in bag (obviously as there is a BIG BLACK SMUDGE) so they cannot do anything about it. I have said I would make statements under oath but because THEIR SECURITY CAMERAS are DEFICIENT - I am out a phone
