My family and I recently shopped at the Dirks Spar in Hillary Queensburgh and were greeted with the worst service I have ever received. The supervisor was absolutely rude and had such a bad attitude that I have now decided to never shop at this store again!!! She refused to accept an old R200 note saying that they are only allowed to accept new notes!!! I eventually called my husband my the car park and thankfully he had a new note, then she says that I must wait in the queue again to pay -when we said we are in a hurry she says she will take the note and we can leave without any change or we must just wait for her. I cannot believe the way I was made to feel in front of so many people, we felt embarrassed and like criminals. Also there were no notices of any kind saying that they do not accept old notes and this was the first instance I came across! I was a regular shopper at your store but after this incident I would rather travel a couple of kms down the road to Pick n Pay where I receive much better and friendly service!!!
