I work in Umhlanga and make use of a Super Spar in Umhlanga Centre on a daily basis. I went in on this last Friday to buy some items for the weekend, the total of the purchase was R370, i proceeded to pull out 4 one hundred rand notes from a plastic money bag, the last notes tears as i pull it out. I ask the cashier if she will accept the note, she says no, so she calls her manager, he says i must stick the note, i ask him if they could stick the note, he says no and then walks away. I walk to the office door to look for him, he comes out and says that i am in a private area and that he would not just walk into my house. I said to him that there is no door or gate on this passage leading to his office and nor is there is sign. I ask to speak to the owner as i did not beleive the answer he had given was correct for the torn note and now the attitude about being in the passage which leads up to their office which is right by the check out counter. He says the owner is somewhere in the shop, i go looking for the owner, i dont see him and then coming back to the office where he is now talking to him, the owner then says to me i have no time for this nonsense and then he walked off.
