No Replacement for Faulty Goods

I bought a Black and Decker Cordless Drill on [URL Removed] which was on special at the time. The battery was faulty and did not charge. It also looked like the item had previously been opened as the goods weren't in their plastic wrapping.

I asked [URL Removed] to replace the item. Instead they credited my account, and told me to re-order the item.

The item was no longer listed on their website, and I was informed someone from the catalogue department would call me back. No one did. I called [URL Removed] back, only to be told that I have to request the amount be credited back to my bank account, as the item no longer appears on their website.

Basically, if the item ever re-appears on [URL Removed] it will most likely be at the original price, and will no longer be available to me, even though I paid for it at the special price. No one at [URL Removed] seems to be able to tell me if or when it may re-appear...
