I recently bought a Tendnet Router in which the instruction manual clearly say all that is needed is an existing ADSL connection. When I received the product the only cables that could be plugged in was network cables and not an ADSL cable. The technical department of Kalahari confirmed this.
I phoned Kalahari who explained the process and that my unopened/unused item will be reviewed and if not usable I will be refunded, less the pick-up delivery charge of R55. I agreed to this.
I was only refunded 50% of the item and the note states that I returned an opened/used item. I returned the item in the same unopened packaging in which I received it from Kalahari.
Below is the statement on their website:
"Any unopened media item or non-media item in original condition, i.e. unopened resealable condition with any seals intact, that is returned within 30 days after delivery: Refund the item price less R55."
Does this mean that Kalahari actually sold me a second hand item?
