I bought a corner lounge suite and a 2 seater couch at Fair Price Eloff Street Branch yesterday, Friday the 29th of November 2013 at around 12pm. I was served by a lady by the name of Nelisiwe. I paid R3499.99 for the corner suite and R1799.99 for the two seater. I specifically advised that I needed the couches as is together with the cushions. I paid for delivery at Park Station and we agreed on a delivery time of 1330hrs as the lounge suite was going to Zimbabwe and the bus was departing at 3pm. After a lot of shouting and fighting over the phone, the lounge suite only arrived at 1445hrs. To my shock and surprise the cushions were gold and black instead of the black and grey that was there when I bought them. Because there was only 15 minutes left before the bus departed, I had no choice but to just sign for the delivery as I had already paid for the transportation. I could not bring them back because it had started to rain (hailstorm day) and with a heavy heart, I dispatched the couches and cushions to Zimbabwe. What hurts me most is the fact that I spent R5300.00 only to get ugly cushions instead of the ones I paid for. Is this the way you treat your customers?
