Black Card incorrect data on statement

I received a phone call from Woolworths Financial Services on Friday the 25th of January 2013 to say I am one month in arrears on my WW Black Card. I paid R2800 on the 30th of Nov 2012. This was due on or before 14 Dec 2012, instalment amount R2713.00.I paid R3000 on the 19 of Dec 2012. This was due on or before 14 Jan 2013, instalment amount R2484.00.I paid earlier in December because of various personal reasons. The instalment for Nov 2012 was due by 14 Dec 2012, so I thought by paying after the 14th, the next instalment would reflect as the payment for Dec 2012. Because you statement only closed late on the 20th of Dec 2012, the instalment for Dec 2012 was reflected on the Nov statement and not the Dec statement. But still, I am not in arrears. I paid R3000 on the 19th of Dec instead of the R2484.00 due. R516 more because I have not received my statement and estimated that the instalment would be more or less the same as the previous months. 25 Days before the due date in Jan 2013. Now WW is phoning me and threatening me with legal action and a bad credit record. If your system closed late in December, you cannot hold that against your loyal paying customer??
