Inadequate accounting system

During March 2013 a clerk put my purchases on my Woolworths card instead of my Credit Card. I have been sending requests for a statement since 26 March. No response.
On 14 June a girl by the name of Chanel, sent me a statement, that I paid immediately. Proof of payment was sent to the email address she supplied.

The statement that I received from her, had the account number: 600785015024851. I thought that it was a new acc number, seeing that I had to reapply for a card in June 2012, after my card had been. I made the payment into this account, according to the banking details that she supplied. My actual acc number was 6007850150248571. After numerous emails, I still did not receive any response from Woolworths. Yesterday, I received a SMS, where the Financial Department was threatening me with legal action for a new amount of R93, 91 that is outstanding.

I lost my Woolworths card in the meantime, but Byron of Customer Services refused to block it.
Any positive communication from Woolworths would be appreciated.
