Deposit and cash was paid to them that does not reflect on statement, we did try to sort this out with them for almost a year in the end I paid the amount again to ensure I receive my deposit back asap.
We gave notice beginning of Nov 2012 as university closed and We have only received deposit back on the 7 February 2013. the deposit should have been R6400 the amount they paid back was R4789.76 short fall of R1610.24. the amount that was paid to them in cash at there office in January 2012 was R1615. and this was the query we had for almost a year as why this payment did not reflect on the statement then 1 Dec 2012 I paid it again to make sure that I receive full deposit. to day after I have send several mail I receive statement with late payment charge that difference every month You can pay the rent on the 1 the month and they will charge you late payment charge of R295 plus. on previous statement this was not on but because I question the shortfall they added it. plus extra money for cleaning after we have done this and inspection fees not in contract They have bad business practise and make extra money without being honest and upfront DONT USE THEM FOR RENTALS
