On wednesday the consultant contacted me to inform me I am in arrears on my bond payment and I need to pay R298 to get my account up to dathe, I informed her I already paid my instalment due on the 19th July, she said they received it but my instalment has gone up, I informed her I received my statement at the begining of July and I paid the amount stipulated on the statement, she said she didnt know why that amount reflected but I need to pay in the difference, I informed her that I will not and I will take further action against absa as the amount that is reflecting is the amount I paid, she said then go to the bank and find out what you are suppose to pay or call home loans, I refuse to do so, I informed her to get somebody to call me and to resolve this matter, its been 2 days already and nobody called me, if my instalment changed then its protocol for absa to send me a statement and inform me about the new instalment. I expect them to rectify this situation or otherwise I will take further steps and inform the consultant that called me its not my job to know why the instalment increased its her job to inform me. Just hope I dont experience the same problem with my 1st bond too
