I visited boardmans to exchange an item.i made the enquiry on if the item could be exchanged and the person i spoke to said yes so i said to him i'm going out to bring the item back.i asked my friend if she checked the stores trading hours and she said even though it was a public holiday, nowhere on the window said the hours for a monday didn't apply.when i went directly back to the store, the doors were closing.the person at the door said that there was no way they could help & i should come back the next day. he said the tills were closed & they couldn't help me. i requested to see the manager as i drove out of my way to get to a boardmans store.they let me in.the lady at the counter couldn't have hid how annoyed she was with me.i was not greeted or asked in a decent manner what i needed to see the manager for.she just said would you like to exchange this or get a refund. her name badge was turned upside down.while we were busy, another person came over & spoke in a different language.when we left the store, my friend who understood the language said that he asked why were we being assisted, we should have been told to leave.is that how you treat clients? Shocking & disappointing
