I went to Shoprite Usave branch at Parys to buy some soft drinks for my staff: I took 2x 2l of soft drinks and when I got to the till I told the cashier not to scan them as I was going back to the store so that she can continue to help other customers because there was only 1 till open; as I was going back she yelled at me and said she was waiting for me so that she can help other customers; when I got to the till she yelled she yelled at me I then asked to see the manager; the lady who identified herself as Lesego the assistant branch manager came and as I was explaining to her what happened the cashier started swearing at me calling me by the and all sorts of insults and she even threatened to go in the store to get a knife and come stab me.
I was so embarrassed about the situation as this happened in full view of the assistant manager; the shoprite staff; my staff and customers. Its so sad.
