Cellphone insurance

Eported my phone at Edgars last week.
so I called edgars N1 city to fine out if the insurance has paid out already and Candy tells me they have only paid out R2000.00 and that I need to pay in a R200.00

This is unacceptable as I paid R2500.00 for my blackberry 9320, I expect to be paid out my full R2500.00 as I have the R56.00 a month cover. In the store there's a sign that says R40.00 cell phone insurance and get paid out up to R3000.000 .

I have the highest premium of Edgars cell phone insurance and no where have I ever signed any documentation saying that I will only be paid out the current value of my phone.

I took the insurance out in the event that anything happens to my phone I know i'll be covered to the value of my phone.
it unacceptable that I've been paying R56.00 a month for insurance only to be given a raw deal once I claim and NOW I HAVE TO PAY R200.00 EXTRA.
Insurance suppose to be a benefit to customers, not rob them.
