I went to the Honey Junction Pick and Pay on Sunday the 10th November 2013 to purchase a few goods. I purchased an apple crumble. When i got home and proceeded to prepare to eat the apple crumble, i took it out of the container/box and placed in a plate and halved it with a fork. Upon halving it i discovered that it was all moldy and green on the inside. What would have happened if i had just bit into it? I drove back to the store and asked to speak to the manager who advised that his name was Ben. With the apple crumble and box and my slip in hand I explained the situation to him. He proceeded to call a lady from the bakery and they stared at each other. I asked him what should i do. His rude response was, "call the owner", no apology, no offer to refund me, no shock whatsoever. I was utterly surprised at his response. The lady from the bakery at least said "sorry" which didn't help me much because i had moldy apple crumble. I am utterly disgusted at the goods bought as well as the response from the manager. I never thought that this how pick and pay operates. I still have pictures of the apple crumble. I left the store with moldy apple crumble, even though i went back!!!
