In August last year I purchased a pair of flat Kelso sandals at Edgars. I loved them so much I bought another pair, in a different colour, in October. Being a regular customer of Edgars and expecting the usual good quality of the Kelso range, I was utterly disgusted that after wearing them a few times, the soles started to completely disintegrate on the inside, causing the whole HOLLOW heel of the sole to split and crumble. I only dicovered this in December, on BOTH pairs, when to my embarrassment a huge chunk of the heel came off while out with family. When I got home I checked the other pair and saw that it, too, was starting to split & crumble. If I wore them everyday for 3 months, we could blame the problem on excessive wear, but that's not the case. Not bothering to take the shoes back due to the 30days refund policy and generally poor service at the Heidelberg branch, I've decided to log a complaint on here instead, in the hope of some kind of response... Edgars, I would like to know who I should escalate this to, as I am definitely not prepared to waste my time arguing with shop assistants about return policies and how many times I wore your inferior quality shoes.
