I posted a complaint last week here about Edgars, seems i have opened a can of worms. The post was was concerning my account which i have paid off and am now told i owe. The morning after my post i received a call from Edgars telling me that my account was indeed paid up and i should ignore all messages and calls that i have received. I was told that i could report to a nearby store as i wanted to close the account and a report would be sent to the store concerning my account. I did go to the store to get the account closed at the store they told me they couldnt close it as they had not received anyreport. It seemed more as though they were less interested in assisting me as they did not bother to look into the reference number i provided. The manager told me to wait a moment he was going to make a call and findout what was going on, well that was the last i saw of him. I feel i was treated as though i am illiterate. The calls and sms have not ceased and im still told i owe them. Because of this issue i have missed a number of days at work and its really got me stressed out. My life is being made a misery!
