Unprofessional conduct - misleading the Consume

Sonja Weidman undertook to submit my tax returns for a fee. She assured me that she had submitted my tax returns but when I followed up with phone calls for evidence thereof she refused to answer her phone. I subsequently, after phoning her almost 5 times a day for 15 days, contacted SARS (a few days before the deadline) and was informed that she never submitted my tax forms.

I am not sure how many other customers she has hoodwinked. She is a disgrace to the accounting profession. She only confessed to lying to me after I sms'd her 4 days before the tax deadline advising her that I was aware that she hadn't submitted my tax forms to SARS.

These type of people shouldn't be allowed to practice their profession. If I had not followed up with SARS I would have had to suffer the consequences for not having submitted my tax forms at all never mind in time. There should be some sort of accounting board to name and shame these untrustworthy, deceitful and unprofessional individuals.
