I received communication via e-mail regarding the Edgars 33% sale off active wear/shoes/apparel so I visited Edgars Northgate on Sunday 10/11/2013 to purchase the Adidas Coneo dance//sneaker shoe, navy blue. On arrival to the department there was no staff in sight in that department there. I waited for approximately 10 mins and no one had still managed to assist me, I the consumer then approached the staff at the Ladies fitting room as asked her to please help me as there was no one around. She called a few time and asked a few staff walking by to assist and NO ONE RESPONDED, I still waited another 10 to 15 minutes and NO staff bothered to assist me. I even tried to find the shoe myself, though i was not successful. I then asked for the manager of the store, i was told that the Manager was not on Duty. Edgars should really rethink their service capability in stores especially when there is advertising regarding promotional activty. I would have not choosen to purchase that shoe if I was not motivated by the 33% Off promotion, now after not being help, waiting for over 30 mins and NO one bothering to assist me I did not get to purchase the shoe at the promo price offered!!!
