I popped in on Saturday to quickly buy a pair of shoes as one of my shoes broke. I didn't know there was a shoe sale and wanted to use my R50 gift voucher (may I mention one of the other department stores gave me a R100 gift voucher). I was completely shocked at the state of the ladies shoes. I had obviously gotten there after the mad rush as there was hardly any customers around. Shoes all over the floor, all over each other, like a bomb had hit it. (I took a few photos as I was so shocked) I understand there was a sale and things can get out of hand but I have never seen Edgars shoe department like this. It is no reason to let it become a mess and leave it as a mess. At the same time the staff is standing around chatting, which is something I see often at Edgars. Needless to say I walked out, good luck to anyone who can find a pair of shoes in that mess!
