POOR SERVICE AT EDGARS, HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I opened up an account recently, so a woman calls me during work hours stating that my application has been approved and that i can pick up my card right away, no problem. she did mention that i have to produce my ID ONLY when picking up the card from the branch.

Anyway, i went to EdgarS after work and i told the person who helpd me that i came to pick my card. (this was a man). he then showed me some type of brochure saying how much discount i will get if i spend a certain amount of money. he also mentioned that i have to buy something in order to activate the account and that i am not forced to buy for the amount shown on thE brochure, he said i can spend any amount to activate the account. (I was also told by a salesman that i can spend any amount to activate the account)

i didn't have a problem with that, i then went back to the counter with an item (a t-shirt) where i was served by a woman this time. she then told me i have to spend the amount indicated on the brochure which was R2000 in order to activate my account. And it was not my intention to spend that money today

I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED BY EDGARS' POOR SERVICE. IT WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME AND PETROL.
