I pay my Edgars account every month before due date. I made my payment and happily went along with my normal monthly proceedings. Once I had spent all of my money, I received and SMS saying that my account was overdue and that I needed to pay over R 600 immediately in order to avoid being handed over! I was disgusted. I now have a bad credit history thanks to Edcon's mistake, and what's more is they still have not been able to have the decency to get back to me and confirm that they have received my proof of payment which I emailed to them. I will tell everybody that I know never to open an account with Edgars. They have robbed me of my future - my plans to buy a house are now ruined thanks to Edgars!
