False information to credit berue. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

As my Edgars account is due every month on the 6th, I make it a routine to pay on or before that day. In the month of January 2013, I paid my account on the 6th. I made an additional payment on the 8th. On the 21st I requested my credit report from Transunion because I was busy applying for a home loan.
I then disputed the accusation with Transunion. Due to this the home loan application has been placed on hold.
I then spoke to Mrs. Flatter Machine who e-mailed me and stated that Edgars did receive the payment and that my account information has been updated
Transunion has 20 business days to resolve the dispute as of today there is 3 days left to resolve it. For the last 2 weeks Transunion has told me that they are waiting for Edgars/Edcon to respond to the dispute and this has not happened. Edgars/edcon feels nothing for their customers and show no interest what so ever. Why is it taking so long? My Last statement from Edgars shows my account is up to date and that nothing is in arrears. Why am I judged for 30 days late payment if my payment was not late?
Edgars has now caused that I lost the property I applied for due to their false/incorrect information to the Credit Bureau.
