I have been to the Brooklyn branch several times over the last few years but I have generally tried to avoid it because of several incidents involving rude staff members behind the tills.
Today I had the misfortune of being served by Nomsa and her equally rude counterparts. I approached the space where Nomsa was standing and she walked away, I then greeted another lady who walked over and she rolled her eyes at me before walking away. I then saw Nomsa had moved to another till so I asked her if I could come through.
Nomsa proceeded to look at me like I was insane to ask and completely ignored my question while looking down. Whilst I was paying Nomsa was visibly irritated but also very keen on showing me that she had attitude and I had to deal with it. She kept staring at my tshirt (which had Steve Biko on it) and smirking to herself -- a sly smile and shake of the head.
I do understand that we probably shouldn't expect too much from Mr Price, but I certainly expect to be treated better by till staff, especially when I am courteous and kind. Brooklyn Mall branch has rude staff and it's been that way for years already.
Sort it out.
