Gross Incompetence at Frasers Luggage Canal Walk

I went to Frasers at Canal Walk to purchase a gift voucher in the amount of R3000.00. I was not given a receipt and when I requested one I was told that they do not give you a receipt but an A4 sheet of paper. when I insisted that I wanted a receipt because I needed to put it with the voucher, it took the manager 45mins and two phone calls to find out how to print a receipt. The level of incompetence was shocking and to make matters worse when she did eventually manage to print the receipt, she gave me the receipt and the gift card and tried to hurry me out of the store. When I requested she check that the money had been loaded onto the card, she insisted it had, but when the other assistant checked it had NOT been. No apology was forthcoming for this oversight which would have been an extremely embarrassing situation for the person who was going to try and redeem it. I was so disgusted at the gross incompetence displayed that I will never frequent the store again and will strongly advise all I know not to do so either.
