I went to the ballito store to return 2 tops. I did not have a receipt. I did not want a refund. I wanted a voucher or credit note as I did not have the time to take anything else. Referred to a manager who punched in the tags and then referred to another Manager. Meena said that they cannot take in the garments as it was not from this store and she cannot tell from which store we bought it. I said it was from Gateway and she insisted on a receipt. This is when I told her I will take something else and she said I cant. I have to take it to gateway. But as far as I know we can return things at any store. This was the first. I live in Zinkwazi and just cant go to gateway now. All I want is a voucher for the goods not a refund. She did not empathise with me at all. Kindly advise before it gets too late.
