I bought a bedroom suite from Joshua Doore Standerton on Thursday 17 October 2013 with specific instruction that the suite be delivered on Monday 21 October 2013 as nobody will be available at another time.
2 Problems:
1. My fiance phoned and enquired about the price and delivery fee on Wednesday where she was told the total will be about R5020.00. When I went there the following day to purchase said items I was told the total is now R5399.90. It was explained to me that whoever talked to my fiance made a mistake and that the new total is the correct total. This is very unprofessional in my view yet I paid.
2. On Monday we waited and after 12:00 when we did not receive anything yet I took off from work as my fiance had to return to work after her lunch. I work 30km out of town and had to drive in as they phoned and confirmed that they would deliver. At about 16:30 my fiance had to call again to find out where they are only to hear they did not load as it was raining. No call or anything to inform us about the change. My fiance told them that they must deliver between 12:00 and 13:00 on Tuesday 22 October. They assured us that it will be delivered. It has not been delivered yet!
