My card being closed for no apparent reason

Last week Tuesday I went to Edgars at Cresta to buy the T SHIRTS cause there was this sale of 33% in all t-shirts but when I was paying for them they told me the card has been closed and I don't know why cause my husband has been paying very well for this card as he is the main cardholder and me I'm the secondary cardholder, so there consultant who was helping me she said there card was closed cause they had to update I don't know which information and she said she will log on a call for me to their head office so that this problem can be fixed and I can use the card after 24hrs, to my suprise this Tuesday I went to Cresta again to use the card but I was told the card its closed so it means the problem was not resolved in their head office and I even went to Randburg mall to solve this problem but the consultant who was helping us she told us that we must leave our contact numbers and our card details she will call us back as she was complaining to us it take long to log a call to their head office, so does it mean it will take the whole month to fix this problem or what or we must rather take the business to other retail stores who will be efficient to offer their services.
