My fiance went to go collect his card for his new Edgars account at Jabulani Mall and listed me as a 2nd cardholder. The salesman then loaded me on to the account and assured us that I just needed to walk into any Edgars store to collect my new card as I did not have my I.D book on me at that time and that my fianc? e need not be present. I then took a half day at work went to do my last minute Christmas shopping. First of all the woman was extremely rude and told me that her manager did not trust that I have permission to have a card without even pulling up my account to check the status of my rental to even realise that there is no need for verification because I am already loaded on the account. My question is if I needed the primary account holder present, why was I given false information and secondly why did I have to be humiliated like a. One thing for sure I will close our account and will never shop at Edgars Cresta ever because I do not and will not take that treatment from anyone.
