I went to Shoprite on the 16th of October to the Money Market counter to withdraw money sent via the Money transfer system. When it got to my turn I was told by the cashier that she didn't have enough money and that she would ask someone to check and I must wait a little bit. She went to the cubicle next to her and came back and continued with her work. about 15 minutes passed I didn't even see the person who was supposed to check and assumed that they were checking somewhere else, not knowing that they were supposed to have been checking at the tills. Only after I went to ask the cashier did she go again to check with who ever it was. Still I did not see anyone checking. I eventually asked security personnel who the manager of the store was and he referred me to the sales manager, who went to the tills and asked and only then did I see someone checking at the till and realised that they'd kept me waiting there while there wasn't anyone attending to my query. Another 15 minutes went by and the guy eventually called the sales manager who called me, and when we got to the till, he asked the person who'd called him why he had done so because there wasn't enough at the till. I left.
