Pre approved card noncense

I received a pre approved card in the post about 5 months ago. I went to Key West were they did not have the form for me to complete, and had to phone head office and then i were asked to wait up to an hour.

Then I decided a week after to go west gate, there they had me sign a form, and said to me they faxed it. So I waited another week.

After not hearing anything I went back to Key West because I live close by. There I had to wait about a hour just for someone to assist me. Then this gentleman just had the same answer as the first time, and just phoned head office, were the confirmed they have not received my application.

A day later i received an sms saying that I only have 5 days to activate my account.

Then I went to clearwater, were they also said someone will contact me, but heard nothing.

Last week I phoned Ackermans head office, a guy there just said i must wait 2 days they are still busy with the approval.

Now my quostion is why do they send pre approved cards if you cant activate it. I am very upset with the poor service, and I have been shopping at Ackermans for years.
