On Friday 4 October I was delighted when I received a text from Jet claiming they will double my points from Fri - Sun on My Jet Thank U card. On Saturday I went to the Jet store in North Gate (which is quite far for me, I live closer to Waterkloof, Pta)
As I tried to pay I took out my thank u card and greeted the young male cashier, he looked at me & ignored me just continued scanning etc. I tried to speak to him again and he just stared at me, I actually thought that he was a mute. He finally said something about my thank u card not working with the details I gave him. Which is impossible because they texted me the previous day on the SAME number.
After a while of arguing with him about my details I finally managed to speak to a manager. Her reply: "Come back on Monday, Customer Services wont work over weekends" (She didn't even phone them).
After which she reffered me to a manager who said the exact same thing. This promotion ENDED on SUNDAY, which means I wasted petrol, time & money. How can Jet advertise a promotion if their facilities wont work, and If they don't work, surely they should have competent & FRIENDLY staff to at least TRY to sort out the problem.
