9 Years/closed account - my husband now owes money

Wow Edgars

After almost 9 years you were able to get hold of my husband on his cell!!! And this to tell him he owes you R451.73 dating back to 2005 and that he has already been handed over!!! Not just that, when he closed his account... don't you give the closing amount!!???!!!

No previous calls, smses or letters in 9 YEARS.

What happend to the National credit Act regulations?

Being informed within 20 days that you are in arrears!!!

Being informed after written communication that you are being handed over???

I have contacted Norman Bissett and Associates (who by the way are rude and unprofessional and adding fuel to this fire) and have informed them that we will NOT be paying this account

I will be contacting the National Credit Regulator and Ombudsman to report this.

I have been a loyal Edgars customer for a long time and please do take note, that as soon as my account (which is almost paid up) has been paid, I WILL BE CLOSING MY ACCOUNT and holding thumbs that I will not get a call in 10 years time that I owes you money interest, admin fees, etc

I will also be telling my family and friends to boycot Edgars, Jet, CNA, Boardmans and all your group companies
