Edgars was one of my first ever accounts and probably the worst account i have ever had to deal with. I opened an account with edgars to start building a credit record so i could open other accounts and one day buy a house and car at good interest rates... Well all that time was wasted.. every cent was wasted... So after opening my account and rarely using it i received countless phone calls from Edgars telling me i was in arrears with my account i became tired of this constant begging and decided to close my account only to find out that a former employee had registered my number as his number on HIS account. I kept telling them that i am not BONGANI, my name is Renier? Time went buy and edgars demanded once again i pay my account which was in arrears this time it was me and i decided that i was fed up. I closed the account only to waste 2 years of trying to build a credit record as the account was NEVER CLOSED and a lousy R16 rand was not paid for some service? Edgars never emailed or phoned me to tell me about this and i assumed it was closed. So the time has come i need to buy a house. Now now.. look at that bad credit record... i smell a lawsuit incoming!!!
