No replacement for faulty Kettle

Hi my mother wanted to return a Kettle that is still under guarentee to the store. The Shop Assistant took in the kettle & said they'll check it out. They then gave the same kettle back to my mother saying that they used it all day and nothing was wrong. My mother insisted that the kettle is leaking & they don't want to hear anything about it. They do not even have the kettle for 2 months.
