Refusal to refund damaged goods

I bought an ignition coil from Elpar Auto-Electricians in Meyerton (who according to their information is part of Autozone). It was a failure product and they refused to refund me. They say that there is no warranty on electrical parts which is not even applicable since the part was faulty to begin with.
