On 01/07/2013, I phoned Peugeot Hatfield, asked for the price of a coil unit, he gave me the price estimated of R1500 I did place the order. About 16:30 I picked up the Coil and did install it on the car, and did find that the part is not working, I did phone Peugeot Hatfield and did speak to Jerry and told him that the coil unit is not working and asked if I could receive a refund because I only bought the part yesterday, he told me that there is no warranty on electric parts and can't help me I can also speak to the manager, I asked him why not is was not told in any way about no warranty on electrical parts and there is nothing about this written on the invoice, he double checked and did also see nothing on warranty on their invoices, the Manager told me that it is not their responsibility to tell the clients that there is no warranty on electrical parts the clients must ask because he has a sigh in the shop to say there is no warranty on electrical Items, I feel cheated, there is no after sales service even from the manager, I wanted to Buy a new part and not from a second hand dealer so I can have a warranty, people who own junk yards will at least give me support or Exchange.
