Refusal to refund damaged goods

I bought an ignition coil that was faulty. Elpar refuses to refund me saying that there is no warranty on electrical parts which is not even applicable since the part was faulty from the moment I got it. After a few attempts in order to get my refund they come up with a difference excuse each time.
