Excellent Customer Service still Exists!!

I activated my Edgars Club benefit online on Thursday 19th Sept, which according to the website takes 48 hrs to be activated. Long story short on Monday 23 Sept it still wasnt activated and when i went instore to have it activated, I was told that it would be activated 48 hrs from Monday (Wednesday). Now i explained to the sales assistant that I had actually wanted to watch a movie the next day (Public Holiday) and that was reason for activating the benefit. She then tried to get the contact centre to overide the 48 hr rule, explaining it that the fault was on their side. They couldnt. She was all apologetic and I said that I know it was beyond her scope of control. What she did next was what I would say is truly going the extra mile for the customer, and putting the customer first... She gave me HER club card, told me to enjoy the movie and said I must come back to the store on Wednesday (25th) and then she would personally activate the club benefit and then I could giver her the card back. People like Tracey-Lee Isaacs took a bad experience and a possible complaint and turned it into a good experience!! Thanks Tracey-Lee, I really appreciate what you did!
