I bought a Ottimo 1.7l kettle from Shoprite, Mowbray on 30 July 2013 however it stopped working on 16 Sept 2013. I returned the kettle with the till slip on the 18th Sept and asked for a refund. Fagmiah said she would not refund my money and as they didn't not have any stock I would have to wait for her to call when they happened to get more kettles into the store. I said Id prefer the refund as I would not like to buy another dodge product. She stated that I could never get a refund as the product was not returned after 7 days after it was bought. She asked me to read the poster on the door about the return of electrical appliances where it states in bold that I am liable for a refund up to 0-6 months after purchase. When I asked her to read what she had just asked me to read she refused. Now angry at dealing with another awfully ignorant employee of Shoprite I took the kettle and left. How can I resolve this? Also I really this this store should look at gross hygiene and the terrible attitudes of most of the people working there, there managers have always had the worst.
