I bought a kettle on the 02/05/2013 and it stopped working mid August 2013. I returned it to Shoprite Montclair today, and it was exchanged with a new one. When I asked about the warranty on the kettle I was told that I will use the warranty that I was using when I bought the broken kettle because I'm not buying the new one they are replacing it. And when I questioned how is that so, I was told that it is Shoprite's policy, if I'm not happy about it I must phone customer care! First I find the Assistant Managers attitude very disgusting and the fact that when they exchange goods and give you something new, how can you use the warranty of a broken goods? This does not make sense at all.
