PARKING IN CENTURION MALL IS A RIPP OFF

On 17 September 2013 in my lunch time I went down to Centurion mall and parked at entrance 4. On my return I went to the machine to pay for my parking. I was there from 13h05 until 13:45 and it cost me R9. I then paid for my parking and I received R2 back and a message on the machine "R1 retained". I then got a slip Protocol 6491 stating overpaid R1. I got in my car, on my way to exit, for my lunch hour was over, I wanted to ask what the retainer was for but there is no help button at the boom. When I got to my office I called the parking manager at the mall on 012 663 6250 just to be told I can come back and fetch my R1. I seldom goes to the mall and I am sure lots of people is in a hurry to get out so they never go back to fetch the R1 for it means nothing but if 50% of clients, parking at the mall daily has a retainer for R1 for they do not have the proper change it is a lot of money. I am so tired to be ripped off by "systems" whether it is for R1 or R100 the public must always feed the bill due to incompetence. My petrol to drive back is more than R1! What a great to rip people off little by little.
