I have a monthly parking card at Sandton convention centre on the 11/07/2013 i sent someone to go fetch my car in the parking Lott. The person did not swipe the card where monthly card holders swipe instead they inserted the parking card in the incorrect slot. I called the parking office on the same day and there was no answer however the machine where you enter the parking card was in full working oder. On the 12/07/13 i called the office and was advised by a lady to come fetch my parking card at the parking office in Sandton City, when I went to the parking office on the 15/07/13 a Lady called Eve advised i should pay R250 just to get the card cause the parking company calls in a technician to take the card out cause the parking machine blocks, I told Eve the parking machine was in good working condition and did not block, i also advised her that a colleague of mine had the same problem and her card was given to her with out any payment, why cant the same courtesy be extended to me. Eve was very unhelpful and was adamant that i should cover the cost, the machine was never broken she just wants the R250 as a money making scheme
