This afternoon I walked into Foschini to buy one, single packet of hair dye. I was told I can't buy it in the make-up department as they can't take cash. I then walked into the main shop and stood behind a lady returning several parcels while only one other cashier seemed to be on duty. The shop was covered in unpacked goods that had arrived with staff standing around having private conversations. Eventually the lady at the counter assisted me and then her debit card machine ran out of paper and there was no more nearby. She asked one of her co-worker, who appeared to be a little higher in position, to please get her some paper from the back and that person just snubbed her and shrugged and they argued. I lost my temper at this point. How can people have such an unprofessional attitude towards their work? I don't blame the poor cashier, but rather her co-workers' behaviour.
