Yeterday the 25th Feb I went to pick n pay in meadowpoints to buy maize meal 5kg. The shelf price was R27.99 vat free. When the cashier scanned the maize meal it was R37.99, so I explained that i saw it with 27.99 and the barcode was written 19 feb 6001571015602and it matched, so it shows it has never been changed on the till.
Asked her for a scan right and it looks like she did not know what I was talking about. She called her supervisdor who said its a system problem and she put the price manually. She called Kenny the so called nanager. He told me that he cannot do a scan right for me because thats not his problem and he can give it to me at the price that I saw. I refused and he told me that I can scream or shout but he won't do a scan right and again he said he does not even known what a scan right is.
I asked to speak to the store manager and he refused to call him. After I told him that I'm going to report him to their headoffice he then wanted to call the manger. I refused cause I wasted 30 minutes with him and I did not wanna waste any more time. I don;t know what kind of a manager is who don't know what a scan right is. How many customers has paid R37.99 instead of R27.99.
