Are you doing me a favour or your job?

Last night my husband and I popped into Clicks Canal Walk, and when we arrived at the queue to pay there was about 3 people in front of us.

Once we had reached the front of the line, this particular and 3 other clicks employees including a female pharmacist were having a fat chat. Once they were done we were summoned to Kayla's till, only to be greeted with her draped on the counter top, and one handed scanning our items, and not only was she continuing her conversation with her colleagues she didn't even say hello to either of us.

Upon ringing the items up, my husband presented his card and quite loudly said "SAVINGS ACCOUNT" only to be asked not one more time but TWICE more by Kayla what account it was. She wasn't even listening to us at all.

I just found her attitude and demeanor listless and I understand that it is late in the day but it just left us both in a very bad mood as if she was doing us a favour by being there rather than the job she is paid to do.
