Excellent Service

My Woolworths account card broke in half and the staff member at Customer Care told me that it would take 6 weeks for a new card to be send to my postal address. In the meantime the old card is blocked and I would not be able to use my account.
When I complained that this arrangement was not acceptable, Hennie, the shop manager stepped in and arranged that a temporary card could be issued to me - although it appears not to be the normal way of doing. He was very friendly and helpful and I saw him a couple of times in the next hour visiting different departments where he assisted the staff, talking to customers and overall just making sure the customers are getting excellent service.
What an excellent manager. We need people like him in every shop.
